Pros of the Tech-generation:

It is undeniable that advancement in technology has changed our lives to great extent. Today, we cannot imagine living without all the technological and luxurious advances like cars, television, computers, mobile phones and so on. Some people opine that modern technologies have made life much simpler and easier, others are of the view that it has made life more complicated than before.  

I personally feel that technology opens doors to more and more progress in every field of life. The following are the reasons why I do want a more advanced world with advanced technologies. My foremost reason is because when you have advanced technologies, life is much trouble free as robots and machines are replaced by physical efforts. For instance, daily life chores may be making meals; cleaning room etc. this will provide time to spend on other important tasks. Another reason is the proficiency with which machines operate different functions without any errors if programmed correctly. Moreover, you will be less likely to worry about the numbers while using calculators. Furthermore progress in medical saves many innocent lives. Medical treatment has been going well with the help of technology. Usage of advanced operating equipments cures sickness and discoveries of x-rays and ultrasounds enable doctors to examine diseases keenly and ultimately cure them.

Cons of the Tech-generation:

On the minus side, in today's high-tech world, human beings are being replaced by computers. Almost each and every work nowadays is controlled by upgraded technological gadgets. Although, it has made life convenient for people than it was before, there are several problems raised due to these advancements. For example, unemployment issues are becoming out of control with the passage of time. Another issue that is dependency on these artificial machines has lead towards less creativity and physical efforts. People, instead of using their intellectual skills in improving their work, use it for making more gadgets to minimize their workload. This in turn, leads to relaxing lifestyle and further creating health concerns like obesity.

In addition to this, there are also social issues associated with the advancement of technologies. Emails texting and mobile phones have reduced the trend of meeting friends and families as they get to know each other’s life events through social networking websites through internet. 

Conclusive Points:

To recapitulate, everything comes with its pros and cons but it depends on us how we deal with it. Technology has contributed immensely to the overall development of humankind; to our material comfort, well-being and to our greater understanding of the world we live in. However, it is important to balance the usage of technology with the probability to be crushed by these new ways of doing things. Even though modernization has made life comfortable and convenient for the people, their complexities and disadvantages cannot be denied. So we need to stay balanced and value our relationships and people around more and more in this fast paced world, to reduce the social imbalance created by the technology advancement.
